Crosstalk Partners is a closed-alpha marketplace for adults booking English-Spanish Crosstalk sessions. These terms focus on the conduct needed to keep booked sessions safe, reliable, and useful.
Member commitments
Adults only
Crosstalk Partners is for people who are 18 or older. You must confirm adult eligibility before creating a profile.
Use the Crosstalk method
Join sessions prepared to speak your strongest language clearly and listen to your partner in the language you are learning. Do not pressure your partner to switch into a translation drill or unrelated call.
Book real sessions
Requests are for specific 30-minute slots. If you accept, show up on time. If you cannot attend, cancel with as much notice as possible so reliability signals remain fair.
Respect safety actions
Members can block or report other members. Crosstalk Partners may review reports, correct attendance, suspend accounts, ban accounts, restore accounts, or remove content when needed for safety and integrity.
Not allowed
- Do not harass, threaten, sexualize, exploit, spam, impersonate, or discriminate against another member.
- Do not share another participant's private information, session link, video room token, or support correspondence.
- Do not try to bypass booking limits, blocked-user rules, CSRF protections, attendance tracking, admin gates, or other safety controls.
- Do not use Crosstalk Partners for emergency services, professional legal/medical advice, tutoring guarantees, employment screening, or activities that require identity verification beyond the MVP profile flow.
